Tap not responding

There are certain 'sweet spots' for iPhones and for Androids.

Please bear in mind that compatible iPhones have NFC always enabled (iPhone XR and later) and Androids may need to manually enable it via settings. Here is a support article that explains how to enable NFC for Androids.

iPhone:

- Make sure the phone is lit up before tapping

- Tap your card on the top of the phone (for metal cards ensure the QR code is facing the phone's NFC reader and hold for 2-3 seconds. Full article on how to tap metal cards here).

Android:

- Make sure the phone is lit up and unlocked before tapping

- Tap the card on the back, center of the phone (for metal cards ensure the QR code is facing the phone's NFC reader and hold for 2-3 seconds. Full article on how to tap metal cards here).

*We recommend holding the tap for at least 2 seconds for metal cards.


*With Androids you should either be prompted to download the vcf file, which is your contact card, or it has downloaded automatically. After the download, you will need to open up your downloads folder to open the file.


*For iPhones, Safari downloads and opens the vcard right away, however, Chrome and other browsers require the user to manually click download and then open the file to save the contact information.
